SafeRoom Technologies Inc., the software developer of the mobile application SafeRoom (“Us or We”) respects the privacy rights of our users and is committed to protecting the personal information collected about you. To further this commitment, we have adopted this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) to guide how we collect, store, and use the information you provide us.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used and disclosed by DRC. Inc. through the use of SafeRoom when you use our websites, mobile applications and other online products and services (collectively, the “Services”) or when you otherwise interact with us. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy. You should review this policy whenever you access the Services.

By using and submitting personal information, you signify your assent to this Privacy Policy. SafeRoom reserves the right, at any time and without notice, to add to, change, update or modify this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service (https://saferoom.io/terms), simply by posting such change, update or modification on the our website (“Site”). Any such change, update or modification will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site. Your continued use of any of our Site or Service will signify your acceptance of these changes. If you access our applications from a third party Social Networking Site (“SNS”), you may be required to also read and accept the SNS Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access the Services to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy.

Collection of Information, information you provide to us

We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we collect information when you create an account, use the Services to send or receive messages (“Data”), request customer support or otherwise communicate with us. The types of information we may collect include your nickname, and phone number, and any other information you choose to provide. The messages and photos you send using the SafeRoom service do not get archived on servers. However, it passes through channels until received. Messages and photos do exist on your devices temporary cache memory during a chat session. After a session we clear your devices cache for our service. For data transmission we use a 256 bit AES end-to-end encryption. However, we cannot prevent others from making copies of your messages (e.g., by taking a screenshot or photo of the phone). If we are able to detect that the recipient has captured a screenshot of Data that you send, we will attempt to notify you. In addition, as for any other digital information, there may be ways to access messages while still in temporary storage on recipients’ devices or, forensically, even after they are deleted. You should not use the SafeRoom to send messages if you want to be certain that the recipient cannot keep a copy. We encourage you to only use the SafeRoom with someone you trust.

Information We Collect Automatically When You Use the Services

When you access or use our Services, we automatically collect information about you, including:

– Usage Information: When you send or receive messages via our Services, we collect information about these messages, including the time, date, sender and recipient of the Data. We also collect information about the number of messages sent and received between you and your partner and which partner you exchange messages with most frequently. We do not collect information about the content of your message.

– Log Information: We log information about your use of our websites, including your browser type and language, access times, pages viewed, your IP address and the website you visited before navigating to our websites.

Location Information: With your consent, we may collect information about the location of your device to facilitate your use of certain features of our Services, determine the speed at which your device is traveling, and for any other purpose described in this privacy policy.

– Information Collected by Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: We use various technologies to collect information, and this may include sending cookies to you. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that help us to improve our Services and your experience, see which areas and features of our Services are popular and count visits. Children

Our App, Site and Services are not intended for children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from such children. Children under the age of 13 should not use our services or SafeRoom at any time. In the event that we learn that We have inadvertently gathered personal information from children under the age of 13, we will take reasonable measures to promptly erase such information from our records.

Account Information

To delete your account simply email us (support(at)saferoom.io) the phone number you were using to subscribe to SafeRoom, but note that we may retain certain information as required by law, for legitimate business purposes, or as part of our regular retention practices. We may also retain cached or archived copies of information about you for a certain period of time.

The messages and photos you send using the SafeRoom service do not get archived on servers. However, it passes through channels until received. Messages and photos do exist on your devices temporary cache memory during a chat session. After a session we clear your devices cache for our service. If we are able to detect that the recipient has captured a screenshot of Data that you send, we will attempt to notify you. You should not use the SafeRoom to send messages if you want to be certain that the recipient cannot keep a copy. We encourage you to only use the SafeRoom with someone you trust.
